History
Kareena Park was built in 1986 on a parcel of land that was formerly used for grazing. It was created to provide outdoor recreational space for the nearby population.
The park has a great variety of facilities, some that are available during the day and others that can only be used after dark. There is an indoor archery range which you can use on weekdays and all day on weekends with supervision from qualified instructors. Kareena Park also has a BMX track, cricket nets, and soccer fields for you to use during the day. There is a mini-golf course that operates on weekdays and all day on weekends as well as an 18 hole disc golf course with two tee pads!
Due to its proximity to Sydney’s southern suburbs, it is one of the most popular parks in the area.
